Air and Space Hampton Harbor - The distinctive architecture of the Hampton Air and Space Museum called me to paint it because it artistically shows the City Motto of "From the Sea to the Stars". The roof design suggests wings of sea birds taking flight as the exhibits featured within archive many of the artifacts of America's first steps to explore flight and into space. From examples of first flights at Kitty Hawk, N.C. to jet aircraft and Apollo Space capsules, all are represented. The painting was done in oil paint on canvas in April, 2024.
Measures 18” X 24” and is valued at $1296.
Matted Prints are available in various sizes
